Hey guys!
This is a really nice thing to come back to, after the rough weeks I've had. It's so sweet of you all to do this and show you care. I really appreciate and love all you guys!
I haven't been here because.... my baby, my little dog Cubby Bear, passed away on April 5th.
Five days before my birthday, and less than a month before we were going to move (that plan has changed a little... we're going to Germany, instead)... he had cancer in his spleen, it ruptured on Monday or Tuesday, and on Wednesday April 4th, he was sick... and we took him to the vet... and then on Thursday we found out the cancer had spread to his bladder, so operating would be of no use... and he had to be put down.
But, I really appreciate the thoughtfulness of you guys and gals for keeping the forum celebrations up until I got to see it! I love you all, and it really put a smile, albeit bittersweet, on my face.
