It's own board, as I know it will need it.
I suggest not getting TOO imaginative. I have a lot of crazy curve balls coming that will completely change this world, mwahahahahaha!

Very generally, what sort of plot will there be?
Just so that we can pick character traits so that we can fall into the plot not so awkwardly.

The plot will begin with problem solving.
It will slowly move into large sacrifices based off blind faith.
Then a huge arc of understanding self-identity in the world you live.
Tried to be as general as possible
Edit: I think almost any character profile can fit in this story. Just be ready to be flexible to major "OMG" moments. I plan almost a complete reversal on my character's personality later.

This is going against the less than 40 suggestion, but could I manage an older programmer?
Someone who, she used to be all modern and techy and excited and stuff, but she sort of faded into generally keeping up/bugfixing established things, never really getting into anything new?
(Until the plot happens...)

This is difficult :/ I'll post my intro soon. I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with a character.

@Aequus I'm totally kool with that. I just suggested below 40 since prime body physique decays beyond that point generally speaking. Yes, there is going to be action involved. But anything's kool. This is the future after all.
@Nayaby I bid you good luck? ? I'm having trouble finishing up the code.

Hey guys, goin camping over Labor Day weekend. I think I may have internet access, not sure, so I can steal a buddy's laptop and still check up on you guys.
On that note, why is no one else posting? I see Nayaby lurking every few hours!

Re: 7h3 4n5w3r5 Discussion
I'm going to post! I'm just in a bit of a rut. I don't know what direction my character should go in... I spent well over two hours pacing in the basement, thinking up various backstories xD
I think I'll just hunker down and write something then. Okay, my character will be a relatively poor person who lost his left arm in an accident and had to build himself a robot one since Future America still hasn't adopted Obamacare and he can't afford to have an arm "grown" for him.
Done.
Will write now.

Hmmm. Interesting concept of NYC. Did you happen to watch the National Geographic special on the NYC underground? A system of tunnels and caves, literally a city under a city.
From what I take it, Wyatt's concept of the "ground floor" is the ground floor of the Overcity. But the actually ground floor is much deeper?

|___|
|___|_____Floor of OverCity

|___|_____Floor of MidCity
|___|
|___|
|___|_____Floor of UnderCity
This is what I visualize. O_o

Yeah, that's exactly what I had in mind. Hope I didn't overstep my bounds, but it seemed like something that could work in this setting. I never saw that National Geographic documentary. Layered cities aren't an uncommon element in science fiction though, so I got the idea from there.

Nah, I think it's rather interesting. Adds more obliviousness to my character.

I love the escapist, ruined future theme you've crafted there, Lycan.
--Ahh, hope I didn't mess with any of your plans, there. I, uhh, would have wrote more afterwards about Seth and 1984 but I'm being kicked off. The world, again, seems really fascinating.

Well, don't get too comfortable. It might suddenly... change.
As far as I see, my plan cannot be ruined since its too out of the box. Just continue with character development and you'll eventually find yourself introduced to my character.

Well, this is totally different from anything I've ever written before. I think I like where I'm going with this. We'll see.
Midcity Recreational Clinic is so named because it's in the New York Recreational Tower. The elevator probably doesn't even reach that low. I imagine there are bats and rats living in the stairwell between the floors as well.

I should probably say, I don't have anything more to write for this night in the RP. Unless something particularly interesting happens. So Lycan, you can feel free to continue your story and set it up for the next day.
