So... I accidentally wrote a 1600 word essay. I didn't mean to. It just sort of happened.

It was supposed to be brief, but I got carried away.

I once started out to write a little monologue piece about waiting for the bus, and it turned into a character who wasn't me, and then there was this magic carpet, and these people with sunglasses-and then I had a plot of a book...and then I had tenthousand words a few days later...and now I'm sort of sitting here, staring at it, and going 'Well, that was interesting. Better keep writing...'

It's a good story, so far, in my opinion. I may post some of it, sometime. I need to clear some things up, but if you all wouldn't mind reading it in installments.

I know! I'm doing some research on this whole forum deal, I'm learning as I go about all the fancy things. Never needed more than categories and forums, back in the ol' proboards days **mutters about fancy new site layouts**

I'm rather fond of the current site layout, since it's reminiscent of the old Twin Skies forums. But I won't say no to fancy.

Sudden urge to play Fancypants Adventure on Armorgames...

I like this layout a lot. There's a few things, though that might be nice, I wouldn't mind some more defined lines here and there, separating things. But I think fancy-wise, some banner-ish things would be nice. If only one of us could do graphics, and make us all custom avatars and banners for roleplays.
