I think the reason I avoid working on my novel is because I have a hidden fear of success. This is what my rudimentary knowledge of psychology tells me anyway. I hope that by vocalizing this to people I care about I might stop procrastinating with life and just get on with it.

Are we talking about how Harry and Hermione should have (apparently) been together? Maybe if it had been written like that since the beginning, but Ron and Hermione had so much build up and belligerent sexual tension over the course of the entire series. Maybe they'd need relationship counseling, but a lot of couples do and that's not a bad thing. There are way more pressing issues like why don't wizards have an equivalent to lazer eye surgery when they can regrow bones overnight, and why are wizards such jerks that they don't solve world hunger when they can multiply pretty much anything ad infinitum, and most importantly: why isn't felix felicis mass produced? It's literally a drink that gives you good luck. I mean seriously. Mass produce it. Make billions. Also solve world hunger.

Seriously though, Neville and Luna is my OTP, and apparently she ends up with Rolf Scamander.

Huh, this prompted me to log into Neopets again (I do this twice a year to avoid my account being deleted xP Too many childhood memories!) I have nine "Lukewarm Leftover Pizzas" in my inventory. I've had them for years now. No idea how they got there, and how they can still be lukewarm and not stale.

I do wonder why Nickelodeon/Viacom would sell it though. I guess it isn't the cash cow it used to be?

Doing pretty well. In Senior year of High School, got good Class Rank, applying to college and stuff like that.

Online I mostly hang out on reddit (especially /r/PloungeMafia, the mafia plying subreddit) and play TF2 these days.

Hard to believe it was like 6-7ish years ago we all met.

If you look at that, it really is hard to believe we all met 7 years ago. And that we're all so... old now. With lives.

Also what are people playing/watching/reading?

I've just started replaying Persona 4 Golden, going for Platinum achievements. I've started watching American Horror Story (Working my ways backwards, watched Freak Show while it aired, and I just started Asylum), the anime Log Horizon and Rolling Girls. Reading wise has just been food magazines (Lucky Peach), and cookbooks.

I relatively recently watched the Netflix production American Vandal, which was "a highschooler in the video club tries to do a Serial thing on "someone vandalized all the teachers' cars, and the administration blamed the school slacker", and stuff happens", which was (a) very well produced and all and stuff, but also (b) reenforced* my Strong Opinion that Neflix is airing it's series all wrong and darnit.

Like, a major part of the plot -- a few major parts, in fact -- deal with the fact that he's posting each episode on YouTube as it airs, and it develops a huge online following, with people coming up with theories, shipping the characters, etc.

and Neflix just... dumps all the episodes at once.

Like excuse me my dear Executives but did you even watch the darn thing?

I haven't seen American Vandal though, but your thoughts make sense to me. I guess that's the issue about the Netflix model though. They like to dump the entire season for people to binge watch, and the consumers just expect it to be done like that. I kind of prefer a serial thing myself, because the suspense between episodes is good for buildup.

Is there some way to tag everyone so we know we're alive? Maybe I'll hit whoever I have on Facebook up and try to get a reunion thing happening.
