Huh. I just realized I'm leaving home tomorrow. Well... I should probably pack something...

Yay living with random strangers! I dropped some things off earlier this week, and nobody I'm living with was there... but there was a massive pile of empty beer bottles. Like, at least five-hundred.

I'm terrified of what my roommate is going to be like. I don't drink at all xD

Happy thoughts. Cleansing thoughts. No judging people before you've met them. Happy thoughts...

At least I'll always have you guys to rage to if I'm ever ridiculously frustrated. Please bear with me.

All moved in, yet I'm having driver problems :/

Had to remove my NVIDIA gtx 440m driver and am reinstalling it now. I hope this will fix my problems... There was a beauteous fix on page 15 of a thread on the NVIDIA forums that worked perfectly for me the last time I had this problem... but the NVIDIA forums are down :'(

So... uninstall and reinstall it is.

Running a computer without a driver for your graphics card is *weird*. It's all... bloopy. Kind of 90s retro, or like safe-mode except not.

Edit: FUDGE MONKEYS! I found the driver I needed, downloaded it, and got a stupid "We could not detect compatible driver hardware" message on my screen. I HAVE THE GORRAM HARDWARE! IT'S BUILT INTO MY GORRAM COMPUTER! So basically, I need to call gorram NVIDIA or ASUS for IT help. *swearwordsinmandarin*

Beyond annoyed. WORK YOU BLIGHTER!

If it's any condolence, my old high school burnt down twice. Once in 1895, and again in 1928. Also, my high school is technically older than Canada.

... Somehow they found an empty building and moved in a crapload of desks and chairs the day it burned down, so school started again today.

My school is a charter school, so we've leased this building for the rest of the years. Sucks for the teachers, because they had a lot of personal stuff.

On a cooler note, the building exploded twice. The English room had a gas fireplace and the chemistry room had... chemicals.

But yea, even when the whole thing burns down, I only get a day off!

Not that I'm complaining, I like my school.

It's okay. I like my criminal justice and legal books. But publication manuals are... unbearable. Why am I taking a course on how to write papers? Um... because it was 'recommended' and I needed a filler. Heh. (Also, because I presume it'll be useful for writing papers.)
